Contract Recruitment - Case Study

Assignment – To recruit a Project Management team for a leading IT service company.
Our client, a household name, won a contract to manage a billing system for major Telecommunications company and required a Project team with the necessary industry experience. PPM was selected to recruit this team having provided project Management training earlier in the year.
We had an associate Programme Manager with major billings and Telecommunication industry experience immediately available and he fitted the profile exactly. He had just completed a similar contract for us in the US. Our next task was to advertise for 4 Project Managers with similar expertise. PPM’s affiliation with the major Project Management bodies enables us to advertise in their media, which we did in conjunction with searching our associate pool.
We appreciated the need to find Project Managers who were customer focused and commercially aware, as they would be working on site and would be representing the IT service company. 3 Project Managers were identified from our associate pool and one came from our advertising activities.
The team was on site within 7 days all on fixed daily rates for 18 months.
