Project Management Assessment Centre - exercises & dimensions

Conventional assessment centres have been structured around "dimensions" or assessment criteria.

However, evidence suggests that this does not help assessors to make good judgements.

Following our design, candidates are assessed directly from exercises that sample real life tasks.

Our principle is to assess performance in the most direct way possible using:
Role-plays (Project Simulation) – to assess the decision making and planning skills of the candidates.
A structured interview to gauge the level of experience the individual has against the job spec(s).
Behavioural interview, assessing managing and motivational skills
Project Management capability test to objectively assess an individual’s knowledge of Project and Programme Management
